Overview
Queen: Limited Edition is Marty02's second pinball table based on the band Queen. Despite the title suggesting it could simply be a premium version of the first table, it is actually a completely new game, this time a mod of Black Knight (Williams, 1980) for VPX.
The table is visually striking, and much more complex than Marty02's first Queen table, demonstrating the strides he made in this period with regards to pinball development. The problem with this table though, is the sound. The Black Knight sound effects have been replaced with short clips of Queen's songs, but there are also full length Queen songs playing simultaneously in the background throughout the game, so it can be a bit of a confusing mess to listen to.
Marty02 would go on to make a third Queen table for VPX titled "Queen: The Show Must Go On", based on the physical Queen table released by Pinball Brothers, and that one really showcases his development skills, and is considered a must-have for anyone with even a passing interest in the band.
