Overview
Fallout by Stern Pinball is an ambitious, post-apocalyptic pinball machine released in September 2026, designed by Keith Elwin in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Kilter Films. The game draws inspiration from both the Amazon Prime Video live-action series and Bethesda's video game entries (Fallout 3, Fallout 4, New Vegas).
The core gameplay centers around an RPG-style progression system that mirrors the source material. At the start of a match, players choose to navigate the irradiated wasteland through the perspective of one of three main characters from the TV series: Lucy MacLean, Maximus, or The Ghoul. As players complete side modes, explore vaults, and battle iconic enemies like Radscorpions and Raiders, they collect Nuka-Cola bottle caps as currency and level up their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, Luck). Reaching max stats unlocks exclusive high-stakes character modes, and progress can famously be carried over across games.
It is available in three distinct configurations: Pro, Premium, and a highly collectible Limited Edition capped at 770 units globally—a deliberate nod to the franchise's fictional "Great War" of 2077.
