Overview
More than just a simple reskin, Golden Birds is a delightfully creative Angry Birds-themed mod of the electromechanical table, Golden Arrow (Gottlieb, 1977) for Visual Pinball X.
Inspired by Rovio's bird-flinging mobile phenomenon, instead of a plunger, the game features a stretchy catapult to launch one of five differently coloured birds into the playfield. There are also little round green piggies that charmingly bounce around inside the slingshot bumpers when hit, and of course, that infuriatingly catchy theme music.
