Overview
Data East's King Kong table from 1990 was never actually released due to licensing issues, but a number of prototypes exist from different stages of development.
In 2012, Francisco666 and D-Struct released their fast-playing interpretation of these prototypes for Future Pinball, and this release was heavily modded in 2020 by RwL. The final result, released under the name "Return of King Kong" has much nicer visuals and better musical choices than any of Data East's original King Kong prototypes.
