Official Xbox Magazine: Volume 36: October 2004

Official Xbox Magazine (OXM) Demo Disc #36 was released alongside Issue 36 of the magazine in October 2004 (bearing the cover date of November 2004). Positioned right at the peak of the major 2004 holiday launch window, the disc featured interactive playable game demos across key genres: Midway's fighting game sequel Mortal Kombat: Deception, team-based tactical action title Conflict: Vietnam, arcade off-road racer ATV Offroad Fury Blazin' Trails / MX 2002 sampler content, and basketball simulator ESPN NBA 2K5.

In addition to playable demos, the disc provided downloadable content (DLC) saves and extra media features. Highlights included final video trailers and hype coverage for Halo 2, previews for Need for Speed: Underground 2, Call of Duty: Finest Hour, and MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf, along with OXM's monthly Top Plays segment.
