Official Xbox Magazine: Volume 60: August 2006

Official Xbox Magazine (OXM) Demo Disc #60 was released alongside Issue 60 of the magazine in July 2006 (bearing the cover date of August 2006). Disc #60 stands as a major historic milestone in the magazine's history: it was the very first OXM demo disc built exclusively for Xbox 360 hardware. It dropped original Xbox executable code entirely, delivering native, high-definition 360 playable demos and Xbox Live Arcade (XLA) trial games:

Prey (mind-bending gravity-defying first-person sci-fi shooter)

Chromehounds (tactical mech-combat simulator)

MotoGP '06 (high-speed motorcycle racing simulation)

Cloning Clyde (Xbox Live Arcade puzzle-platformer)

Frogger (Xbox Live Arcade classic arcade remaster)

Because it was a native Xbox 360 disc, it also included downloadable gamerpics, dashboard themes, and high-definition 720p/1080i video previews for fall 2006 blockbusters like Gears of War, Dead Rising, Saint's Row, and Splinter Cell: Double Agent, alongside OXM's monthly Top Plays segment.
