Overview
Balutito's Frankenstein table for Visual Pinball X is a reskin of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (Sega Pinball, 1995).
Whereas Sega's table is based on the 1994 movie starring Kenneth Brannagh and Robert De Niro, Balutito's reskin is based on the original 1931 movie starring Colin Clive as Henry Frankenstein, and Boris Karloff as the monster. Naturally, the film tells the same, familiar story of an obsessed scientist who digs up corpses with his assistant, to assemble a living being from body parts.
The mod also adds new music (an excellent version of Edgar Winter's 1973 instrumental track, Frankenstein), and the table was released in two different versions: a sepia colored edition, and a black and white edition in keeping with the look of the original movie.
