Overview
The 1975/1976 Chicago Coin Shoot Out is a classic Western-themed, electro-mechanical (EM) "Dale-style" rifle arcade game. Released by the Chicago Coin Machine Manufacturing Company just before they transitioned their arcade division to Stern Electronics, it stands out as one of the last major EM gun games of its era.
The game is timed for exactly one minute with unlimited shots.
Regular single targets pop up from behind barrels or in saloon windows, remaining visible for only a few seconds. Hitting regular light-animated targets yields 100 points.
If a player manages to score 3,000 points within the initial minute, they are rewarded with an additional 60 seconds of extended play.
