Overview
The Walking Dead: Siggis MOD is a visual enhancement of The Walking Dead: Limited Edition (Stern, 2014) table for Visual Pinball X (VPX). Originally developed as a collaborative effort featuring table architecture and programming by creators like ICPjuggla and Freneticamnesic, the table was converted into a Limited Edition version by Dozer. The prominent virtual pinball modder Siggi later took this solid foundational framework and gave it a dedicated "graphic mod" to elevate its aesthetic presence.
Siggi leveraged assets and inspiration from previous variations—including the EBisLit (EB) modification—to build a cleaner, more striking ambiance. This includes overhauled textures and fine-tuned lighting elements intended to bring out the gritty, post-apocalyptic atmosphere of the television series and comic books directly into virtual pinball cabinets.
While the aesthetics received a major overhaul, the table retains its technical assets. The 3D toys, intricate wire ramps, and playfield models—crafted by community experts such as Flupper, Dark, and Zany—remain a staple of the gameplay experience. Because it is built directly over the LE framework, players can expect the same brutal, high-stakes layout featuring the signature crossbow mechanics, prison bash-toy, and walker bash features that make The Walking Dead one of the most challenging tables in the virtual pinball hobby.
