Overview
Marty02's digital table for Visual Pinball X is a tribute to Stern's physical pinball machine, The Mandalorian (2021). Released for Visual Pinball X in late 2023, the project represents roughly 175 hours of dedicated design and coding work. Though the table artwork and playfield layout is based upon Stern's machine, Marty02's table has its own unique gameplay.
The gameplay is deeply anchored in the universe of the popular Star Wars television show, tasking players with completing 15 unique missions. Mechanically, the table is built to be highly engaging and casual-user friendly, offering multi-ball modes, mystery targets, extra balls, and progressive jackpots.
It is configured out-of-the-box with 5 default balls—which purists can easily adjust down to 3 within the script line 26—and includes helpful quality-of-life mechanics like automatic magna-saves and protective outlane ball-saves to slow down pacing for relaxed play.
