The ultimate 16-bit football game comes to the Commodore 64/128!

For the last five years I have been thinking of attempting to port Sensible Soccer to the C64 and had the pitch and sprites ready to go, but unlike my arcade ports I knew just 'eyeballing' the gameplay would not be enough, with the feel of the game down to the precise way players and the ball move, and how they interact with each other. You could easily make a game that looks like Sensi (I'm looking at you, Graeme Souness International Soccer....), but making it play like it would require intimate knowledge of the game's workings.
