Overview
Lady Sharpshooter is a solid-state electronic pinball machine released in May 1985 by Game Plan, Inc.. Designed by Roger Sharpe with software developed by Rehman Merchant, this machine stands out historically as the final game produced by Game Plan before the manufacturer went bankrupt later that same year. The production run was highly limited, with only 1,200 units ever manufactured.
Unlike standard upright arcade cabinets, Lady Sharpshooter was engineered in a cocktail-table format. It is one of only two cocktail-style pinball designs produced by Game Plan that featured its own completely unique layout rather than recycling a standard cabinet's geometry. Its compact, flat-top layout accommodates up to four players in alternating turns.
The game centers on an engaging Wild West theme brought to life through artwork by Larry M. Blazek. Despite its scaled-down cocktail footprint, the single-level playfield packs a traditional array of features designed to test a player's accuracy. The mechanical layout includes two flippers, three pop bumpers, a slingshot, a kick-out hole, a spinning target, and two stand-up targets.
