Checkout

Checkout is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player tries to color all squares on a 7 x 7 grid by walking over them. The player must avoid the enemy robot that moves about. Squares go from dark, to striped, to colored, and then back to dark when walked on. If the level is completed in under 30 seconds a bonus is awarded. The player starts with three lives, and loses a life if caught by the robot. A countdown to the left of the screen represents the time until the robot fires its lasers in the cardinal directions.
