Overview
Released in Europe as Rainbow Islands: Bubble Bobble 2 in 1991, this version is different from the earlier 1988 Japanese and North American versions released as Rainbow Islands. This version plays more like the original arcade game and was only released in Europe. Additional differences include changes in level layouts and two-player alternating gameplay in the European version.
