Picross NP Vol. 6

Overview

Picross NP Vol. 6 is the sixth out of the 8 Picross NP games which were released bi-monthly for the Nintendo Power Cassette in Japan, starting in 1999.

The games are basic picross games where the player is tasked with using numbers on a grid to figure out which squares to fill out and which to leave blank to, in the end, reveal a hidden picture. The games all use the same game engine as Jupiter's previous picross title Mario's Super Picross, but each feature less puzzles and omits the hieroglyph/archeology theme for a more basic pen and paper style in its place.

The unique character set for Vol. 6 is based on Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64.
