There are different gameplay modes. The Open Mode allows the player will face five different baseball teams from either the Central or Pacific region, then having to beat the other five. The Versus Mode has the player playing against the CPU or another player. The Tournament Mode has the beat all teams from the Central and Pacific regions. Before starting the game, the player has to pick a team to play as, then manage the team by choosing who gets to be batter and pitcher, followed by a choice of stadium to play in. The game has the player either batting or pitching the ball, with the traditional rules of baseball incorporated.
