Overview
Captain Beeble is an underwater 1-player arcade game for the Atari 400/800. The player controls a diver named Captain Beeble, who must gather underwater crystals and return them to the Crystal Processing Unit (C.P.U.) The player has a total of 200 fuel to power them to the crystal at the other end of the level and back. If the player strikes a monster or moving block under water, they lose a life, and the player starts with 5 lives in total. The player can shoot and destroy monsters with their pistol. After collecting a power crystal, the player has to return the crystal to the C.P.U. within 20 seconds, or they will explode. Each stage becomes progressively more difficult.
