Overview

They were mean, they were vicious, they were rough and tough. Yes! the Ardies were on the rampage again! In just one hour (and forty seconds), they had succeeded in taking control of Pondsville, a peaceful little town somewhere in the far outreaches of the universe. The entire population of 3,101.5 had fled on sight, vacating their homes and leaving all their possessions behind them - such was the reputation of this nasty little bunch! The streets lay deserted as the Ardies gleefully helped themselves to anything they could get their hands on; nothing was sacred, their greed knew no limits. Just one minor detail, however, that they had overlooked in their haste — this was the home town of none other than the most dynamic, fearless intergalactic water-fowl of them all — LARRIE! (the duck). Enter our unsuspecting anti-hero, fresh back from an ordinary day's work rescuing the planet earth from a fate worse than death. As he turned the key in the lock, and opened the front door, he paused on the threshold, struck by the unnatural silence that reigned over the household. Suddenly, he saw a figure darling across the hallway. "Oh dear, it's those tiresome little pests again! Will they ever learn?", Larrie thought to himself. Undaunted, he fluffed up his chest feathers, and with a cute wiggle of the tail, waddled forth into the darkness...
