In Rocket Mania, players earn points for launching fireworks with speed and skill. This is done by rotating the fuse segments on a grid to form a path between the flame sources on the left and fire rockets on the right. While the two are connected, the rockets are launched, gaining points. Bonus points can be won by launching multiple rockets at once, which is possible since the fuse segments usually contain 3-way or 4-way joints, effectively dividing the flame path. After a rocket launch, all segments of fuses that were touched by the flames are removed and replaced with new random fuse segments (with existing parts falling down to fill any space). The connections are conveniently color coded to easily identify segments of fuses that are connected to a fire source or one or more rockets. Players often find it useful to work backwards (from the rockets), allowing the installation of a multiple rocket launch before making connection with fuse segments already connected to the flames.
