Famicom Meijin Sen

This Japanese chess (shougi) adaptation has some unique features. It has the following modes:

• Original shougi: Play a single match against the AI or another player on controller 2, or spectate the AI plays with itself on both sides.

• Tsume shougi: Shougi puzzles.

• League competition: Tournament against 8 other opponents.

• Recreation: Famicom Meijinsen uses its save battery to automatically record the last match played, including AI vs AI matches. You can review said match using this mode and start playing from any turn while reviewing the match.

Starting a new match will automatically overwrite the last played match in the save battery with the new match in progress.
