Overview
In NHL POWERPLAY '96, all the NHL teams are available, as well as a selection of the Olympic squads. You have the ability to trade and create players in the General Manager mode, or you can participate as if you're in a real game in Season, Exhibition, and Playoff modes. The graphics are just one of the many key points here the polygonal players move exceptionally well and possess realistic animations, including high-sticking swipes and some hard-hitting body checks. Anything that you can do in the ice, you can do in this game. You can also take on a friend in the Versus mode.
