Overview
The Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball EX (known in Japan as Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu EX) arcade machine is a classic coin-operated sports game released by Konami in April 1998. Developed by Konami's Diamond Head division, it brought the beloved, cartoonish "Power Pros" console baseball experience into Japanese amusement arcades.
True to the Power Pros franchise, the game features the iconic, stylized "SD" (Super Deformed) legless characters with massive, spherical heads. It traded highly realistic graphics for fast, addictive, arcade-perfect physics, responsive pitching, and snappy batting mechanics.
