Tanigawa Kouji no Shougi Shinan II

Tanigawa Kouji no Shougi Shinan II is a Shougi simulation game featuring the titular Shougi player Kouji Tanigawa, and is the second game in the series. The game has three modes of play:

Game (対局) is the main feature of this game. You must compete against the Four Heavenly Kings: Oshou Doronuma (泥沼和尚), Shizen Daiou (自然大王), Jizai Shougun (自在将軍) before finally taking on Kouji Tanigawa.

In Tsume Shougi (詰将棋), you must figure out the correct move to put the opponent in Checkmate.

In the Next Move (次の一手) mode, the player must decide one of four moves that will be the most advantageous to them.
