'Battles In Normandy June-July 1944' is a board game on one 3½ inch floppy disk in envelope and a booklet with a two instruction cards, one catalogue and a set of 5 labels for backup disks in a cardboard folder. It was introduced in 1987. This is one of a series of games in which software micromanaged the actions of the individual units for example battalions or artillery assets. The series used the same format but different battle scenarios in different theatres of war. Titles included MacArthur's War, Halls of Montezuma, Rommel and Panzer Battles. The game had sound capability, however this was determined by the limitations of the hardware. A version of this game was also developed for the Commodore C64 computer system.
