Pengo

Pengo is a fixed-screen maze game in which the player controls a penguin battling the Sno-Bees that infest an Antarctic ice field. Each round begins with a new maze assembled from ice blocks, several of which briefly flash to reveal hidden Sno-Bee eggs. The objective is to eliminate every active Sno-Bee and destroy the remaining eggs before they hatch.

Pengo moves in four directions and can push or break the blocks surrounding him. If the space behind a block is clear, pushing causes it to slide across the maze until it strikes another block or a wall. A moving block crushes any Sno-Bees caught in its path. If a block cannot move because another block or wall is behind it, Pengo instead breaks it apart. Sno-Bees can also destroy blocks while pursuing him, continually changing the available routes through the maze.
