Obliteration Zone

Overview

Obliteration Zone is an action game set in a maze. The player's task is to neutralize a number of power nodes that are located around the maze by simply moving over them. Once all the nodes are removed the player advances to the next level. At the same time there are four different kind of enemies that defend the nodes and that the player has to shoot or avoid. Initially there are just drones which appear as eggs before they start moving around the maze. Other enemies are neutron runners that home in on the player, gamma tracers that are harmless but drop bombs whose blast is lethal and geddon riders which will explode and kill the player if not destroyed quickly enough. The game goes on until the player loses all five lives. An extra life is given after every fourth level.
