Overview

Caillou and his friends are spending the day at the park, learning about the alphabet. Caillou Alphabet is an education game for preschoolers, teaching letter recognition. It includes 26 minigames, one for each letter. Most are variations on choosing the right letters. For example, the game Apple Drop asks the child to click on all apples that have "A" or "a" on them. There is no penalty for failure. A couple games are different. Earthworms asks the child to place earthworms into an outline of an uppercase and lowercase e, and Umbrella Catcher asks the child to move an umbrella under raindrops with the letter U on them. All instructions are given verbally; languages include English, Spanish, and French. Winning a minigame earns the child a star; up to three stars will be given for each game, which are displayed on the game selection screen. The child's accuracy at choosing the right letters is tracked, and can be displayed as well.
