Overview
Rig Racer 2 is an arcade-style truck racing game in which the player is given the choice of eight trucks to race around four conventional racing track circuits. The game features three difficulty settings for single race, time trial and challenge modes as well as a two-player split-screen racing mode. The player initially has access to four rigs in the PC and PlayStation 2 versions of the game with the Wii version only allowing access to two of the eight rigs. Additional rigs and tracks are unlockable via an in-game currency that is earned by completing races. Additional race settings include time of day options, a mirror mode and the choice of 3, 5 or 10 laps to complete the course. Despite the name, Rig Racer 2 is not a sequel to an existing game.
