GeoTutor 3: Central America

Welcome to our third installment of Geotutor. This month we

present Central America and the islands of the Caribbean.

Geotutor is designed not only to teach the location of countries

but to teach a little bit about them as well. In addition to a

paragraph or two about each country, Geotutor gives some basic

information on each locale. This information usually includes

the country or region's formal name and affiliations, its

population, system of government, capital and unit of currency

and a description and picture of its flag. General items of

interest, such as a country's national anthem and motto, its

natural resources, exports, imports and key geographic features

are also included in most cases.
