Overview
Shroud, a demon wizard of a thousand disguises is invading Earth by concealing himself and his army in the tail of Hailey's Comet to surprise and defeat us. You are a shuttle pilot on a routine mission when you discover this vast army and it's plans and so you have decided to take them all on to save the Earth. Cosmic Clash is a top view single screen shooter where you start from the bottom of the screen and move upwards constantly, moving left or right as well as slowing down and speeding up. One alien invader is on screen at a time and it appears at the top of the screen moving downwards. When either of you reach and move off the other side of the screen then you reappear back to the other side. You must blast the invaders while avoiding their bullets and if you kill an alien then one appears again in the same spot. There are also asteroids that are moving across the screen and these need avoiding and if you hit one or are hit by a bullet then you lose of of five lives.
