Overview

A wargame about World War II. There are 8 operations and a campaign editor. You can fight on the side of the USSR and the Wehrmacht. Large maps in this timeline. The area of some locations reaches 260 square kilometers. There are 60 different kinds of armored vehicles available. There is also an encyclopedia where you can look at three-dimensional models. The project has an alternative title - Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star - Shilovo 1942. This is a sequel to the game "Front Line: Battle for Kharkov". Artificial Intelligence has been improved in this new installment. The computer opponent now flexibly changes its behavior depending on the user's tactics. This increases replayability. The gameplay itself is divided into two phases. On a tactical map, the gamer and his opponent deploy and move their armies in turn-based mode. And when two troops collide, there's a real-time battle. Single only available. No multiplayer at all. The product boasts a believable damage system and realistic ballistics. Hull hit takes into account type of projectile, slant and damage, armor thickness, and other factors. If you puncture the tank, the fuel will start to leak and burn. On top of that there is a destructible environment. The battlefield remains littered with damaged vehicles and the corpses of infantrymen. Soldiers have a personal scale of fatigue and morale. Also each fighter has a level of experience. All of these affect the outcome of a battle, as well as the landscape, weather conditions, and time of day. The day, night and weather here change dynamically. This determines the radius of vision and the passability of the terrain.
