Overview

Bejeweled 2 is a browser game, a sequel to Bejeweled, developed and published by PopCap Games. Bejeweled 2 Deluxe was released in 2004 and like all other PopCap titles, it is available on an "try before you buy" basis. Bejeweled 2 had a Windows CE port made by Astraware that was released in 2005. Bejeweled 2 Deluxe was released for Xbox 360 as an Xbox Live Arcade game on November 22, 2005. PopCap also released an iOS version of Apple on 2008, which is available on the App Store, and also for PlayStation 3 on PlayStation Network on January 29, 2009, in the USA, and for Wii via WiiWare on June 14, 2010. As with Bejeweled, Bejeweled 2 is based based on Shariki’s game mechanics. Bejeweled 2 features several secret game modes that can be unlocked by overcoming levels in Classic, Puzzle, Endless and Action modes. The game was named in 2001 as the Puzzle Game of the Year by Computer Gaming World.
