Overview

Cross Invert is a logical brain puzzle for the Commodore 64. It was developed Mathias Linke and published in 64'er 1993/12. The game is played in a 8x8 character playing field. The joystick controls a sprite frame. When the fire button is pressed, the color of the right, left, upper and lower characters changes. From yellow to green and vice versa. Next to the playing field there is also an 8x8 character where you can see the content of the final pattern to be recreated. The goal of the game is to change the given pattern in the playing field in such a way that it corresponds to the final pattern in the other field. Once this has happened, you jump to the next level. A time limit varies from level to level. Cross invert consists of 20 levels, after every fourth level a password is issued.
