Meta-Ph-List: Gamma X 2297

Meta-Ph-List: Gamma X 2097 is a top-down, vertical-scrolling shooter that you (ideally) play with a controller in one hand and a mouse in the other since your spacecraft can fire 360° around itself. The game accommodates playing with just a controller but armed with a mouse it becomes a truly unique gaming experience.

Mission choices are selected on a galaxy map and a small wartime update report indicates (in Japanese) which location the player should head to next. Repeatedly completing the suggested missions with a certain degree of success will eventually unlock new story cinematics.

Succeeding or failing mission objectives pushes the "tide of war" in either direction, cutting off or opening up more mission choices. Repeating this cycle, players will eventually see all of the story content and the final ending.
