Mystery Gold

Mystery Gold is a 2D fixed screen digging game, similar to Dig Dug and Mr. Do! . You play as a miner looking for buried gold. There are five treasure boxes, two of which contain deadly ghosts. There are also some green monsters that can wander the tunnels that you leave behind as you explore the area. One of the monsters (flashing white) may also have the ability to dig their own tunnels. Your goal on each level is to collect all of the gold and then defeat the green monsters.

Monsters and ghosts can be dispatched with three blasts of the miner's light. If you have not collected all of the gold, monsters will respawn. Also, the monster is only stunned if you hit it from far away. Digging next to water veins will cause a flood in nearby tunnels that can be used to drown monsters and ghosts. If you are not careful, it can also kill you. The game is over when all lives are lost.
