Tom & Jerry Popper

Overview

The Tom & Jerry Popper is a rare, vintage handheld electronic LCD card game released in 1983 by the Japanese company Gakken. Part of Gakken's ultra-slim "Card Game" series, it featured licensed characters from the classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) cartoon.

Tom flies balloon bombs across the screen, and the player must use a saber to pop them quickly. You control a character at the bottom center of the screen. A mistake is triggered if you fail to pop the balloons or if a magnet steals your saber (exclusive to Game B mode). The game ends after 3 mistakes.
