Alantia is a rail shooter, much like Space Harrier, but with a few twists. Instead of a flying man, you play as a running girl that shoots magic bolts from her staff. It has some very nice graphics for its time and boasts some very good music. It takes place in Sword World, a Tabletop Role Playing Game setting that is very popular in Japan. While most other Sword World video games are RPGs or visual novels, Alantia is very different, being an action game.

Neural Gear is a pseudo-3D scrolling shooter similar to Space Harrier. You play as Emi T. Fonon, a futuristic soldier from the years after World War IV, who wears a bio-powered suit that can fly back in time and destroy time travelling robots. Each level goes back to an earlier date and has more numerous and powerful enemies. The game is completely controlled with the mouse.
