Overview

The penultimate golf game by T&E SOFT for SNES. Like its predecessors, it is officially endorsed by the Masters Tournament golf competition and by Augusta National Golf Club, where the Masters takes place. The game uses digitized photos for its golfers and crowds, as well as for menus and the title screen, for a sense of realism. The game also produces weather effects that can modify the course. The cartridge contains the SA-1 enhancement chip, so there are less waits during gameplay, graphics are also improved. In previous work, the terrain that had been drawn as flat polygon became a more of a pointillist style painting. There are many interface improvements and the main controls have been moved from a window to being displayed around the player sprite.
