The Casio PV-1000, is a third generation (1983-2003) video game console developed and distributed by Casio. It was released in October 1983 in Japan at a retail price of 14,800¥. The console was not released outside Japan. The PV-1000 failed to achieve a significant market share, and thus only had 13 games released during it's life. The console was discontinued by early 1984.
