Notes

The Elektor TV Games Computer (TVGC) is a hybrid video game console and educational microcomputer introduced in April 1979 by Elektor magazine as a build-it-yourself kit. Based on the Signetics 2650 CPU and 2636 PVI graphics/sound chip, the TVGC connected to a television and offered both built-in games and programmability via cassette tape. Though primarily a hobbyist system, it laid the groundwork for several games and features later seen in the Interton VC 4000 console family. Its modular design allowed for significant hardware expansion, including sound chips, cartridge support, and memory upgrades.
