Astrosmash resembles a cross between the early arcade games Space Invaders and Asteroids. The player controls a laser cannon that can scroll left or right along a flat plane in order to target falling objects, such as large or small meteors, large or small spinning bombs, and guided missiles, as well as a UFO that crosses the screen from time to time at higher levels. Low hills and stars are seen in the background. Unlike in Space Invaders, the player does not face direct enemy fire, cannot hide beneath bunkers, and the game does not end when targets hit the ground.

The earths ionosphere has been replaced by layers of polluted atomic dust placed by the planet Ugh, which is even now bombarding the earth with, "Goodness, Gracious Me", great balls of fire. You, Professor Reflector, have developed the "Reflector Reverser", which if placed in line with the balls of fire, reverses them and reflects them back into the layers of atomic dust. Direct hits by the "Reverser" knock great big holes in the layers, allowing sunlight to come in and the earth to be saved. 10 times you usethe reflector and you are wiping the skys clean, because once you have broken through the bottom layers, the reflector reflects and reverses within the layers knocking them out. . . and then. . . planet ugh strikes back with a complety new set of layers of atomic dust and. . . this slimy polluted layer of horrors has a mind of its own and is advancing down onto the earth's crust and particularly down onto you, Professor Reflector, to wipe out the "Reflector Reverser". You have 10 balls of fire coming towards you, which you must reflect and revers to save the earth!

The Chess cartridge turns the Mattel Aquarius into an eight-level chess computer - eight skill levels so that anyone from a beginner to a grand master can play! You can pit your wits against the computer, or you can watch the computer play against itself. You can even use the Mattel Aquarius as an automated chess board to play another human opponent. For the beginner, the Chess cartridge has lots of teaching features, like step by step retract and replay, and even a 'help' function to suggest a good move. Start off at skill level 1 and work your way to the top! For the advanced player, Chess suports en passant and other international rules.

Chuckman is based on the popular arcade game but with a few improvements. You have to direct your hero around the yellow paths to disarm the numerous time bombs. The paths however extend outside the normal television screen so you also have to use your wits to remember the quickest route. . . . That is not your only problem though, sometimes you won't be able to see where the bomb is, then it becomes chaotic as you chase around the paths trying to locate your time bomb, but even that isn't all. . . from time to time there are earthquakes which destroy part of the paths and these have to be repaired before you can continue, or wil you be able to work out another route before the bomb goes off. . . . If that isn't enough to contend with there are also boots wondering about which are out to stomp you, so avoid these if you don;t want to be flattened. The pathways are generated randomly so that no two games are ever the same. It also has various levels to play. The machine code make this game thoroughly addictive, fast running and very taxing. This game, like all other Adonic Electronics arcade games is written entirely in machine code and uses machine generated cells and the graphics are of a very high standard. Features include top ten scores, stunning sound effects and terrific animation, will also run on Kempston joystick.

You remember the old plastic hand held games, where you push plastic around till everything is in order? Wll now it's computerised and boy is it cute. The computer randomly mixes up the letters in any degree of difficulty and you have to unscramble them. If you watch carefully at the beginning you can follow the computer making the moves and then copy it and put everything back in its place. Simple fun? Not likely, it might be cute cubes to the computer, but to you it's fiendish, fickle, frustrating, futile, fruitful, fabulous fun.

This is probably one of the best machine code games ever written for a home micro. Kevin Baker who wrote Jawz, Tobor, 3d Star Wars and many other hit games rates D-Fenders as one of his best games. The game is all action with ever type of alien attack including sub-human flying saucer parachutists. Sometimes you forward looking echo sounder shows a complete screen full of enemy attack. The only way through is to use your Baker-bomb, this ultimate weapon wipes everything in its path out. But you only have three Baker bombs for your life's mission so use them sparingly. The rest of the time you use your heat seeking lasers and depend on manouvering your space craft to keep you and your crew alive. With forward thrust, reverse firering its possible to keep this fantastic all action machine code game going for hours.

You are John Revolting the disc jockey at the 'Spin-Inn'. Spikey Sarah your girlfriend who drinks a drink every three minutes has decided to sit at the far end of the disco. You have to go to the bar, get her a drink, take it to her table whilst avoiding the dancers. However, you have to keep the music playing and must go to the record store and put on a new record before the first one stops. Lurking in the alley near the record store are the 'teeny-bopper' muggers who must be avoided. Putting on a new record increases your score, but brings out more dancers on the floor and Sarah wants another drink and the muggers have got more of their friends. Come on, John Revolting, up to the bar, cross the dance floor, down to the record store. . . and the beat goes on.

Ed-On is a clone of the arcade game Head On. It's a racing game where the player has to drive his car counter clockwise around a four lane circuit. Once the whole circuit has been completed, the player will move on to the next level. All around the circuit are dots, that show where the player hasn't been. The level is finished when all dots are gone. The player also must avoid the AI controlled cars that race in the opposite direction. If he would crash he loses one life. On the first level there's only one car to rise against, but the numbers increases for every level. Sometimes flags will show up on the circuit. Picking these up will give extra points. The game uses directional keys to jump between lanes, as well as speed up and slow down.

Mazantics is a single screen shoot 'em up with multi-directional movement similar to Robotron but without dual stick controls. The objective is to survive as long as possible through an endless amount of randomly generated mazes. The mazes are populated by humanoids who chase the player and if they manage to catch him, a life will be lost. The player has to shoot all humanoids to complete a maze and progress to the next one. It is possible to play with manual fire or with auto fire, where the player character automatically fires when an enemy appear within his line of sight. Enemies get progressively smarter and will after a few stages start firing fireballs that have to be dodged. The player has three lives and an additional one is given at 20,000 points.

Melody Chase is an exciting adventure into the realm of music for one to eight players. The action takes place on a bar of music with twenty moving notes and endless number of firemen armed with waterballs. You control three fireballs. Dodge the firemen and your fireball at the silent notes. But hurry! You have a limited time for each shot. You will lose your fireball if you wait too long to shoot, if you miss a tone, or if you touch a man. If you touch a waterball the firemen will gain speed and quickly change directions to trap you. If you hit a note, you gain points and hear the note play. Shoot again with the same fireball. Hit all twenty notes and hear the song play. Then begin the bonus bars. See how far you can go!

Your task is to prevent the mutant-millypedes and sickly spiders getting into your family anti-fusion shelter. But be careful there's more danger lurking. Once you've killed the first mutant-millypedes, they mutate and turn into multi-mutant-millypedes (wow alliteration). Just how good are you at playing this all machine code version of the oldie arcade game. Play millypede and find out. This is the version of the arcade game that's challenging even the Time Lords. Meet the spooks. A scary weird bunch whose one aim in life is to stop you, Mr. Pac Mr, from eating your fill of lovely pulsating power pellets. You use your lightning speed to climb columns, scale slopes, lance lanes before the scary spooks catch you. Then with enough power under your belt the music changes and now its your turn to spook the spooks. They run, rush, rave but they can't avoid you raving rushes and one by one you send them to the spooks graveyard. If you move fast you eat all the power pellets, get rid of all the spooks and move into the next time zone. But be careful, this next lot of spooks were h'educated and h'eton, so they are a lot more cleverer and you're a long time dead. Or until you push the game start button.

This Phrogger is leaps ahead of any other Aquarius Phrogger. You have to guide Phroggie across a multi-highway which is full of juggernauts whose one aim in life is to squash Phroggie flat. Then taking a quick breather, avoiding snakes, crocodiles and using logs cross the swift flowing river and jump onto his lilly pad haven. Then Phroggie's brothers start to make the crossing but each time a brother makes it the traffic speeds up, the crocodiles and snakes get nastier and the logs fewer. A fabulous all machine code version of this super arcade game which has deliberately been set a very difficult level to start with.

In 'Happy-Happy' land everybodys lives in gaily coloured houses and has a lovely time al the time, expect Postman Pot. Every morning he picks up his bag of letters and sets off to post them but on the corner of Chocolate Street is a big bad dog which bites him and Pot has to go to the hospital and doesn't deliver any letters. Next day Pot goes round the backs of the houses and tries to deliver his letters but three dogs chase him. Pot runs down the street, across the road and gets run over by a car. Pot the next day avoids the dogs, avoids the cars, delivers his letters, goes back to the post-office and is given pascels to deliver. He then has more dogs and more cars to content with. Postmas Pot is a fun maze/strategy game that all the family can play. With progressively harder and harder screens. A full hall of fame and high score table Postman Pot will keep you engrossed for hours.

This is an educational game to learn simple mathematics. You run through a maze adding and substracting numbers until you reach your goal. You will be moved to another -random- spot in the maze when you hit a moving object. Not sure if this also effects your score. The faster you reach your goal, the higher the score.
