On starting playing a new game, the players begin their journey in the year 2010, and have a limited 50 years to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions as agreed upon at "World Summits", which take place every five years beginning in 2015. The "world summit" is an in-game organisation that determines how aid is distributed to promote emission reductions. There is a finite number of locations in which buildings can be placed, requiring careful planning. Along with reducing emissions, the player must also balance the production and consumption of electricity, water, food and garbage while sustaining the economy. There are seven playable regions in-game: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, North Asia, South Asia and Australasia. Every region has different environmental balance, different resource availability and population. Nitro Family is a First-Person Shooter developed by South Korean development team Delphieye Entertainment and distributed by ValuSoft (localized by Nobilis France and Akella for the respective regions) upon its release in 2004. The title was largely advertised as a spiritual successor of the Serious Sam franchise, similarities between the games involving use of the same graphic engine, absurd humor and identical "shoot-to-kill" gameplay. Plot: The storyline of Nitro Family takes place in a far-fetched dystopian future: as manic depression and psychotic syndromes have started become a more or less common occurrences in society, the Golden Bell corporation released the so-called "Healthy Family" drug which was supposed to prevent the aforementioned diseases from happening, without any chemical dependency involved. A decade after the product hit the shelves however, the meds turned out to have severe adverse effects and led to extremely violent behavior upon withdrawal. The issue caused society to split into three fractions: the Soberers, people who decided to limit their consumption habits to minimum; the Healthy Family, a group which abandoned the usage of the drug; and dedicated Followers of the Golden Bell corporation. The subsequent social unrest and civil war resulted in the banishment of the Followers into underground catacombs, while the Soberers continued to live on the surface. Nevertheless, the owner of Golden Bell, named Louis, maintained the faith in his company product and developed a new version of it, supposedly free of previous after effects. The final test was to be performed on a new-born baby, for the purpose of which Red Chief Chopsky was kidnapped by the corporation's loyal staff. Little did the abductors know that the child's parents, Victor and Maria Chopsky, were both professional hunters, specialized in weapon-handling and training dangerous animals alike...

Prison Tycoon 2: Maximum Security is a managerial simulation where the player manages a prison. In free playing mode he chooses between three locations and does what is done in most tycoon games: constructing buildings. The most important part is the security, meaning fences and cells. The cells can have different security levels because a car thief is easier to handle than a mass murderer. Other options regard the everyday life of the prisoners, e.g. dining rooms and gyms. Employees range from guards to cooks to canine units. The player always needs to look after the budget and the prisons reputation. Every building and every piece of infrastructure costs money but if the security is too low a prisoner may escape or even kill somebody. To improve revenue the player can send prisoners to work, e.g. in a farm or laundry. Certain events spice up the everyday routine, e.g. protestants or prisoner revolts. If the player does a good job he unlocks the possibility to build execution chambers. Besides the free playing mode there are also 15 missions where the player takes over existing prisons. There he needs to fulfill certain goals, e.g. preventing a revolt or bankruptcy.
