2 Games in 1: Sonic Battle + ChuChu Rocket!

Nintendo Game Boy Advance - Released - November 16, 2005

Sonic Battle is a fast paced pseudo-fighting game, akin to Super Smash Brothers from Nintendo. Rather than being 3D side-scrolling, this game employs a 3D isometric view- not a static, sprite-based field though, it is comprised of actual texture-mapped polygons. The character sprites are 2D though, and while you think it wouldn't work- it does :P You can have 9 characters to choose from, 5 modes of play; Story, Battle, Challenge, Training, and Mini Games; you can link up 4 GBA's to fight your friends, each character has a bunch of moves you can use to beat the you-know-what out of whoever you're fighting. It has a system of selecting Aerial, Ground, and Guard based attacks, and depending on what type of attack you set for which area (aerial/ground/guard), you have a possibility of 9 total different special attacks to choose from (only 3 at a time in a match though) which you can change each time you lose 1 stock point. ChuChu Rocket is an action puzzler, designed predominantly as a multi-player game. You have indirect control over mice, and must guide them to the safety of a rocket, and away from a cat. You do this by placing arrows on the ground, which they will follow. The multi-player game is a frantic all-against-all duel, in which each player's mice will only follow instructions of their own colour. You can play this mode on your own against CPU opponents, or take on a series of predefined puzzles

A balloon allows SpongeBob to glide. A beating heart shows SpongeBob's health - should it get too low, he can refill it by picking up fast food items like milkshakes, fries and burgers. He can also collect spatulas - picking up 50 of them awards an extra life. Extra lives can also be found in the form of an extra pair of underpants. Every world ends with a boss battle. One level takes place in Sandy Cheeks' home tree. There, SpongeBob must periodically refresh himself at a water puddle or dry out and lose a life. The Battle for Bikini Bottom begins with SpongeBob and Patrick playing with their robot toys. The former wishes that the robots would come to life. Meanwhile, in the Chum Bucket, Plankton has planned on creating a robot army and use them to take over the world. Not only that, he will also achieve in getting the Krabby Patty formula. By the time he and his friend go to the Chum Bucket, SpongeBob has finally discovered that Plankton is behind the entire plot. He admits that he is planning on using a robot army for his purposes. When SpongeBob tells him that his robots are causing a rampage, Plankton tells him that it is because the switch to his device is on disobey method and tries to get the robots to his command. Unfortunately, a robotic version of himself refuses to allow that and sends a gigantic SpongeBob robot to deal with SpongeBob which he defeats both of them.

It was developed by Pandemic Studios, published by THQ and released in 2006 for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Windows. Six months after the fall of the regime, the coalition had established an interim government to transition Zekistan into democracy, but severe problems were also emerging. Various insurgencies began to plague the country and ethnic divisions were again causing sectarian conflict. Across the country, the Mujahideen Al-Zeki, an Al-Afad loyalist group led by Mullah Abdul Hassan began to fight coalition troops in an attempt to re-establish the old regime. Another key faction was the Anser Al-Ra’id, a northern ethnic Zeki faction led by Mullah Qari Ra’id, seeking northern ethnic Zeki independence in the province of Tien Hamir under his rule. The previously peaceful province and its regional capital city, Khardiman, became a focus of the fighting in the country when Mujahideen forces stage an uprising, bringing them into conflict with American forces, British UN Coalition forces, National Militia forces under the control of regional governor Andrei Zakirov and the Anser Al-Ra’id forces. To make matters worse, Anser Al-Ra’id forces soon turn on American, Coalition and National Militia forces. But British forces were able to re-take the Tien Hamir Bridge from insurgent control and US forces were able to re-take most of the city, halting a possible civil war between the Mujahideen, Al-Ra’id forces and government. The game was divided into four chapters, each chapter containing three missions. The first chapter takes place in present time, while the other three chapters were precursors to the first chapter.

Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain

Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain

Windows - 1997

Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain is a real-time strategy computer game. The game emphasizes empire building and customization. Instead of using a single large map as do most of the current real-time strategy games, Pax Imperia revolves around star systems connected by wormholes or jump points, which connect a system of star systems in a large web. The game allowed for the player to customise the species that they were to play to a high degree. Players could focus on construction, reproduction, research, espionage, or the acquisition of money. Players could select special qualities, such as having psychic powers or an aquatic physiology, and could tailor their species to be better at peaceful colonisation or conquest. Different planets had different types of atmosphere, so that certain species could more easily colonise some than others, and each planet additionally had different quantities of natural resources, similar to the Space Empires series of games. Unlike the Master of Orion series of games, Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain is not a turn based strategy game, but is instead real time. The game speed can be adjusted during the game, to speed up moments and slow down important parts in which a lot of interaction is needed.
