Commodore 64 - Homebrew - 2014

Released in Commodore Free #080. This is a score/attack game in which you must survive as long as you can against wave after wave of the advancing undead. You (and a pistol) are the only thing between a horde of flesh-eating zombies and your camp of a dozen survivors. If any of the walking corpses make it into the camp, all Hell will break loose – and its “Game Over” (if you're dead, that is). You can't afford to let one of those zombies get past you. You can only fire a couple of rounds before you have to re-load, so use your bullets sparingly, as a wasted shot can mean certain death. The faster you cut through the horde, the more points you will acquire as more dangerous zombies (such as sitters which have a highly toxic ranged attack, or boomers that will explode) appear, splattering corrosive bile around its proximity. Also, a zombie combo bonus is awarded for taking out a huge wave of zombies in succession. How long can you hold back the creeping doom?

Baphomet

Commodore 64 - Homebrew - 2009

A SEUCK game by Anthony Burns in conjunction with The New Dimension for one or two players, with cooperative play available. NOTE: This game contains nudity and situations that some may found offensive. This is to some degree a one-player game, but it uses both joysticks, so two player is naturally easier. You start the game on foot, using joystick port two (If you try to start using port one, you will not be able to progress beyond the opening screen). If you can get past level 2, you will be instructed to switch to port one. From this point on, you will be flying, and the game will scroll automatically. When you are told to “stand by” do not move the joystick, or you risk colliding with dangerous areas of the background. These have been placed in such a way as to make certain levels inaccessible to the “walker” and others to the “flyer” so that they can only be on-screen at the correct time. When you are on-foot, you fight at close range, in the direction you are pointing. Do not venture off the grey walkways: the infrastructure of the conversion centre is deadly to the touch, and keep clear of the walkway edges where the passage is narrow. Similar caution applies when you are flying: steer clear of anything that is not plain sky (unless it is a bonus pickup). When you are flying, you fire forwards, with a long-range weapon.

Bionik Granny Returns

Commodore 64 - Homebrew - 2010

Back in 1984, Granny was waiting outside the school gates, waiting to clobber the brats who were responsible for making her life a misery. Now 26 years later after her hard earned rest, SHE'S BACK. The cantankerous old lady is on a little adventure, which is to go out into town and grab her pension from out of the local post office. Unfortunately for her, the town's full of pushers and shovers. Not only is this bad for her - she's very annoyed. She finds herself in a situation where modern society seems to be too much for her. So she puts on her blue raincoat, picks up her walking cane and gets ready to go out and clobber the poor folk. Using (or emulating) a joystick in port 2, help Granny clobber passers by with her cane - to retrieve coins. To be able to release a coin, granny must clobber at least five people. If a coin is visible, she can keep clobbering folk and then after the coin has disappeared, she can clobber five people again to release a new coin. Then when a coin has appeared, quickly help Granny grab it. You are not against time in this level. So if you want to do a load of clobbering to boost up your score, then that's what you can do. Out to stop Granny are some people and other beings, throwing or shooting hazards. Avoid those at all costs. After each level has been successfully completed, you will move on to the bonus round. This is where you will have to help the old lady cross the road and enter a building to grab her pension - otherwise something daft will happen. Complete all 8 levels to win the game.

I had just completed Vortex Crystals and submitted it to the compo. Heavy Stylus suggested that I should do a 16KB version of Blap 'n Bash. Rather than just submit a 16KB version of the previous build. I decided to give the game a complete overhaul. Blap 'n Bash Revisited features some BRAND NEW GRAPHICS, 16 NEW LEVELS and STUNNING NEW MUSIC and remixes of the old GET READY, GAME OVER and LEVEL COMPLETE jingles. Boing (The New Dimension)

Commodore 64 - Homebrew - 1997

Boing is a game developed and released by Richard Bayliss and graphics by his brother, Philip on Richard's TND label in 1997. One of the earliest games on the label. The object of this game is to safely guide Blobbo across the bridge without getting crushed by a rolling barrel. To do this, you will need to press the fire button on the joystick plugged into port #1. This will not be an easy task because you have to test your reaction skills. If you press the button too soon or too late, then you're finished. However, if you press fire at the correct time, the player will be able to jump over the barrel and cross the bridge. Border Blast 3

Commodore 64 - Homebrew - 2017

The sequel to the games Border War (1989) and Border Blast 2 (1992) ... In the year 2035, the first Border War between China and the United States ended. During this conflict, the U.S. had erected a protective force-field barrier along its borders. This barrier had saved several American cities from being wiped out. Once the war was over and the Chinese Emperor brought down, the American people demanded that the force-field would be shut down. And so the world enjoyed 25 years of peace... Now, in the year 2060, a new tyrant rises. In a surprise attack, he seizes control of the old force-field barrier. The tyrant now uses the barrier to imprison the people of the United States WITHIN its borders. No one gets out, and no aircraft can pass through. A new Border War begins. The U.S. President requests help from the Air Force. This is where you (and perhaps a friend) come in... Your mission is to fly a powerful jet through different war zones in the United States. Destroy the enemy forces and bomb their bases. During some stages, the enemy will drop a nuclear warhead. Your only chance against an atomic blast is to find a safe spot in the shadow of a bunker. Collect power-up pods to amass points and earn bonus lives. Your ultimate target is the enemy’s Mobile Command Center (MCC) – a flying fortress from which the tyrant controls the force-field barrier. Destroy the MCC and free the people!

If you are left with 4 credits, and can take them all away, you will win. However if you are left with LESS than 4 credits left in the pot, then you will forefit the round.
