But be careful, choose the wrong answers and you might just end up pissing everyone off. As Rei, you will experience three routes as the bottom and one route as the top, but! The main game may just have a little more variety with a certain route~ These dates are not connected to the main story. Rather, consider them as something like an after story. 2 Shot Diary is a collection of twelve short episodes of sexual nature, each told by a different young woman, presented as entries in their diaries. There is no connection between the stories.

2 Shot Diary 2: Memory 1/4

2 Shot Diary 2: Memory 1/4

NEC PC-9801 - Released - December 9, 1995

This is the first of the four episodic games that constitute the sequel to first 2 Shot Diary game. Unlike the first game with its 12 different scenarios, it only contains 2, and both are very short; however (also unlike the first game), most of the scenes here are animated. Both scenarios consist entirely of depictions of explicit sex. One of the scenarios is about a girl named Yukari; after her father died, she had to look for a job, and finally became a maid in a mansion of a rich oligarch, who molests her sexually. The other scenario is dedicated to a very young girl named Emi, who goes with her friends to the beach. Once she finds herself in a secluded place, a young boy approaches, and the two have sex. The gameplay follows the same template that was utilized in 2 Shot Diary: text and graphical scenes unfold automatically, and the player's input is restricted to choosing words from a list to fill blanks in sentences. This allows the player to interpret the events in various ways, effectively "writing" the girl's diary on his own.

2 Shot Diary 2: Memory 2/4

2 Shot Diary 2: Memory 2/4

NEC PC-9801 - Released - February 29, 1996

This is the second of the four episodic games that constitute the sequel to first 2 Shot Diary game. Unlike the first game with its 12 different scenarios, it only contains 2, and both are very short; however (also unlike the first game), most of the scenes here are animated. Both scenarios consist entirely of depictions of explicit sex. One of the two scenarios shows a young girl named Mayumi in her house, when suddenly a stranger phones her, and the two have passionate telephone sex. The other scenario deals with a schoolgirl named Mai. She is ambushed by a gang of men who undress her and use her as a "plate" to arrange seafood on, which involves perversities which better remain unnamed.

2 Shot Diary 2: Memory 3/4

NEC PC-9801 - Released - April 6, 1996

This is the third of the four episodic games that constitute the sequel to first 2 Shot Diary game. Unlike the first game with its 12 different scenarios, it only contains 2, and both are very short; however (also unlike the first game), most of the scenes here are animated. Both scenarios consist entirely of depictions of explicit sex. One of the two scenarios focuses on a young photographer named Youko; unexpectedly, her boss asks her to take part in a production of a lesbian porn movie. The other scenario involves a young girl named Saki going to the bar, getting a bit drunk, and eventually engaging in a lesbian threesome.

Through the game you'll be switching back and forth between both character's scenarios which involve being a bodyguard for the president (Kojiroh) and investigating a series of weird murders (Marina). As usual, both stories will intersect, twist and bend in every direction possible and dragging them deeper into a web of conspiracy. The game uses the Lucid Motion2 engine for cleaner animation and introduces a new interface which allows for interaction with onscreen objects and persons without the need for the text menu of the original. Also notable is the fact that while ADAM keeps the detective/mystery story as the main selling point it also adds sequences of explicit adult content instead of the "innuendo" that was used in the original.

The software is sold together with three ready-made games (one of them is Echo Night - a title released by From Software on PlayStation in 1998). This program is designed to create games such as Play Novel, which are very popular in the Far East, where you can read a lot of dialogues and choose from text, while watching static graphics in the background. These are not the only possibilities - you can easily try to create a puzzle game or some kind of quiz. Players can exchange their works through the possibility of a direct connection to the console or via the Internet.

Aishiau Koto Shika Dekinai

Aishiau Koto Shika Dekinai

Sony Playstation - Released - February 11, 1998

Aishiau Kotoshika Dekinai - Nothing but Loving you is the latest in TOKYOPOP's publishing venture, another brilliant yet melancholy piece detailing the lives of three men and a woman, trying to find happiness, love, and fulfillment in a city of fuzzy sexualities. While resembling "Between the Sheets", the atmosphere within "Nothing but Loving You" is markedly different, particularly more fatalistic, yet again using the space to discuss and showcase different sexualities and how they interact with the lives of Sakurazawa's characters. Nanako Hashiguchi is a stylish, beautiful, and slender woman, whose face and body adorns multiple fashion magazines. Or at least, she used to. Fired from her modeling agency due to her wild and erratic lifestyle, she becomes a freewheeling agent, trying to find work and a new place to live before her former employers kick her out of her subsidized apartment. Within this atmosphere, she sleeps around with upcoming actor Mitsuhiko, who is totally smitten by Nanako, only to find a man much more suitable to her tastes, the stylish bishonen Etsushi.

Aisle

Aisle

Commodore Amiga - Homebrew - May 28, 1999

A common criticism of adventure games generally and works of interactive fiction specifically is that they oftentimes suffer from what have been characterized as "read-the-designer's-mind" puzzles -- making necessary apparently arbitrary (and sometimes seemingly absurd) actions that produce unreasonable-to-expect results; the puzzles look kosher in a walkthrough but only make sense to a player after the fact, knowing of their implausible effect. Aisle is the inverse: the designer has instead had to read the player's mind, predicting which actions, likely or unlikely, the player is apt to attempt in the somewhat under-stimulating environment (certainly an unusually pedestrian game setting) of the Italian foods section of a supermarket late one Thursday night. Rather than the player wandering the market and interacting with objects contained there in the conventional adventuring fashion, this game permits the player only a single move... that move triggering a memory, hinting at a roiling and turbulent backstory that can only be more fully appreciated by unlocking more recollections. Upon completion of the single move, the protagonist leaves the market and the game concludes -- then restarts, giving the player another crack at glimpsing another, parallel facet of the memories the shelves of pasta provoke.

Aitakute... Your Smiles in My Heart

Aitakute... Your Smiles in My Heart

Sony Playstation - Released - March 16, 2000

You're in tenth grade, your parents are out of the country for a year, and your new private school has affairs of the heart as a major elective. If that isn't reason enough to get chummy with the opposite sex, you're also a teenage male, and your father has decided that he'll find you a "really nice" girlfriend if you can't do it yourself. Throw in the fact that the only person you know at this new school is a Casanova who turned down a top-ten prep school because it wasn't coed, and one has the ingredients for a good old-fashioned romance sim. As Shinya Ichinose, the player examines a variety of sloe-eyed high school girls through his daily interactions with them in the school environment. Once their characters, dispositions, and interest (or lack thereof) in the player become more clear through their own statements and interactive events, the pursuit phase begins. The first goal--one that is traditionally laid out as the be-all and the end-all in romance sims--is to make yourself agreeable to the girl and eventually ask her out on a date. The tedious details of daily life can be taken care of selecting "Everyday Goals" in the auto-play configuration. Personality parameters can be adjusted either to the player's tastes or some chosen girl's preferences. For the more important things, manual play mode will allow the player to arrange the hot date by phoning to ask a girl out, reserving concert tickets, and buying presents. The player can also stake out a nice romantic spot or find a part-time job to pay for all this extravagance. Unlike most romance sims, Aitakute's game play extends beyond the actual asking out. The player can take his (or her) new girlfriend to a cafe, karaoke bar, or a pretty hillside and do most of the things that typically happen on a date, whether it be talking or kissing. One wrong comment or an inappropriate choice of venue could sour the event, however, and the player is left to attempt damage control. The major hallmark of success in this game is something quite unlikely: nicknames. The player selects a nickname to be given to Shinya by one of the girls on the first day of school, and as Shinya builds a more intimate relationship with whomever the woman of his choice may be, she will start to refer to him by that name. Conversely, the woman will also allow Shinya the privilege of calling her by a pet name.

Game progress advances as a mystery novel. As the case becomes obvious you will investigate and use deductive skills to find out the culprit and the motive behind the crime. During the gameplay you can visit various places and check the map of the Bell Garden school and its surroundings.
