Shugo Chara! Amu's Rainbow-Colored Chara Change is a Shugo Chara! video game for the Nintendo DS. It was released in Japan on November 6, 2008. The Guardians plan on holding a "Best Friends Contest" at their school. For the next three months, Amu juggles studying for tests and training for matches while finding a person to attend the contest with by hanging out with them afterschool and on days off. The aim of the contest is to think about the people who are important to them. Amu can Character Change with Guardian Characters who are not her own, being able to Change with Yoru, Daichi, Temari, Il and El.
