2 Shot Diary

2 Shot Diary 2: Memory 1/4

2 Shot Diary 2: Memory 1/4

NEC PC-9801 - Released - December 9, 1995

This is the first of the four episodic games that constitute the sequel to first 2 Shot Diary game. Unlike the first game with its 12 different scenarios, it only contains 2, and both are very short; however (also unlike the first game), most of the scenes here are animated. Both scenarios consist entirely of depictions of explicit sex. One of the scenarios is about a girl named Yukari; after her father died, she had to look for a job, and finally became a maid in a mansion of a rich oligarch, who molests her sexually. The other scenario is dedicated to a very young girl named Emi, who goes with her friends to the beach. Once she finds herself in a secluded place, a young boy approaches, and the two have sex. The gameplay follows the same template that was utilized in 2 Shot Diary: text and graphical scenes unfold automatically, and the player's input is restricted to choosing words from a list to fill blanks in sentences. This allows the player to interpret the events in various ways, effectively "writing" the girl's diary on his own.

2 Shot Diary 2: Memory 2/4

NEC PC-9801 - Released - February 29, 1996

This is the second of the four episodic games that constitute the sequel to first 2 Shot Diary game. Unlike the first game with its 12 different scenarios, it only contains 2, and both are very short; however (also unlike the first game), most of the scenes here are animated. Both scenarios consist entirely of depictions of explicit sex. One of the two scenarios shows a young girl named Mayumi in her house, when suddenly a stranger phones her, and the two have passionate telephone sex. The other scenario deals with a schoolgirl named Mai. She is ambushed by a gang of men who undress her and use her as a "plate" to arrange seafood on, which involves perversities which better remain unnamed.

This is the third of the four episodic games that constitute the sequel to first 2 Shot Diary game. Unlike the first game with its 12 different scenarios, it only contains 2, and both are very short; however (also unlike the first game), most of the scenes here are animated. Both scenarios consist entirely of depictions of explicit sex. One of the two scenarios focuses on a young photographer named Youko; unexpectedly, her boss asks her to take part in a production of a lesbian porn movie. The other scenario involves a young girl named Saki going to the bar, getting a bit drunk, and eventually engaging in a lesbian threesome.

Bomber Quest

Bomber Quest

NEC PC-9801 - Released - October 14, 1994

A young man named Shounosuke sees a strange dream: a voice talks about mankind and its sins, and a beautiful girl begs him to save her... The next day, when he goes to school, an earthquake occurs, and he is miraculously taken into another world, where he meets the girl from his dreams. She says that girls in different dimensions are in grave danger, and Shounosuke has to save them... Bomber Quest has elements of both strategy/puzzle game and RPG. Each of the six girls has a different scenario, accessible from the beginning. Each scenario puts the player character into a top-down environment. Shounosuke has to build a maze to access its locations. The maze is built from small pieces taken from Tetris. The player can rotate the pieces and then place them onto the ground. The goal is to build a maze that would cover possibly large ground, gaining access to important locations and items. Visiting uncovered locations in the right order leads to cut scenes, which advance the plot. Shounosuke will be randomly attacked by enemies during his wanderings through the mazes. The battles are viewed from first-person perspective and are turn-based. Shounosuke can only use physical attacks and items. Defeating enemies brings experience points, leveling Shounosuke up in a standard RPG fashion. The game features scenes with nudity and sexual content.

Dangel

Dangel

Fujitsu FM Towns Marty - Released - 1996

Long time ago, there was balance in the world. Three great tribes lived in peace with each other. Up in the sky, the Heavenly Tribe; down on the Earth, the Human Tribe; and between them, the Demon Tribe. But among the demons, there were some who wanted more power. The members of the Heavenly Tribe were forced to seal the rebellious demons in what they called "Path of Light". But one of them figured out how to break the seal. The demons were now free, and they attacked the Human Tribe. Horrible massacres, ruined cities and villages, exterminated nations - it looked like the End of Days had come to the humans... ...A boy named Anduke was raised in a secluded location by two female elves. It was clear that the boy possessed extraordinary powers: at the tender age of nine, he was already able to sexually satisfy his lovely nannies. But a mysterious force tore the boy away, knocking him unconscious. He awoke ten years later, in a human village. A promise given to a young girl led him to a fateful meeting that revealed his destiny: he had the blood of Heavenly Tribe in him, and was the only one able to save the Human Tribe from the demons... Dangel is a traditional Japanese-style RPG. Anduke meets companions on his quest, who join his party. The navigation is done from top-down perspective, while random turn-based battles use first-person view. Player-controlled characters can use regular attacks or magic. Anduke is also able to give commands to his elf companion, who has access to many magical spells. The game features full-screen anime-style cut-scenes to advance the story, many of which depict sexual encounters.

Diver's

Diver's

NEC PC-9801 - Released - August 11, 1994

In the year 2065, the Earth's ecological system has collapsed. Global pollution made it impossible to further dwell on the planet under natural conditions. Human beings were forces to construct huge cities in artificial environment, known as "cyclones". New technology has opened ways to new kinds of entertainment - namely violent battles between cybernetically enhanced fighters... Diver's is a simulation game somewhat similar to Princess Maker with cut-scenes (mostly of erotic nature) breaking the daily training routine. Taking the role of a manager named Shirou, the player can choose to train one of the four available female fighters. The goal is to raise the girl's battle parameters by filling our her schedule with daily assignments. These include various kinds of physical training (attack, defense, etc.), mental exercises, sparring with a partner, etc. In order to keep the girl relaxed, it is necessary to rest from time to time, as well as perform some leisurely activities, such as shopping, gambling, or relaxing in a spa. The event battles are presented as short animated clips of the opponent attacking the girl of player's choice. There is no interaction during the battles, and their outcome depends on the fighters' parameters, as well as advices the player has to give his/her fighter before the battle.

Gokko Vol. 01: Doctor

Gokko Vol. 01: Doctor

Fujitsu FM Towns Marty - Released - November 15, 1994

The story of Gokko Vol. 01: Doctor is quite simple: the protagonist is a young man who dreams of becoming a great doctor, study abroad, and win the Nobel prize. In reality, however, he is just an ordinary aspiring physician who has to practice his medical skills in a Japanese hospital. However, seeing how all the doctors, nurses, and patients turn out to be gorgeous young women, the hero quickly forgets the Hippocratic oath in favor of his less altruist, but more basic instincts... The gameplay offers very little interaction and mostly involves choosing between a few dialogues lines and actions (always context-specific, without a permanent interaction menu) to advance the events. Most of the choices are purely cosmetic, though a few might lead to Game Over.

Gokko Vol. 02: School Gal's

Gokko Vol. 02: School Gal's

Fujitsu FM Towns Marty - Released - November 30, 1994

Gokko Vol. 02: School Gal's is very similar in structure to the previous volume, but - as the title implies - with a different theme. The player controls a young male protagonist (default name Lance), who has spotted a beautiful girl near the gate of the prestigious Finlandia Girls High School. He is determined to gain access to the school, which is also attended by his sister. Though men are strictly prohibited from entering the school building, the hero is resourceful enough to find a way in; what happens afterwards should be clear to anyone familiar with the many high school-themed bishoujo games... The game plays very similarly to its predecessor, though the player has somewhat more freedom of choice and options this time. It walks a fine line between a "normal" Japanese-style adventure and visual novel, though due to lack of a fixed verb-based command menu it should probably belong to the latter. Most of the choices are there simply to try and see the responses; however, some of them lead to dead-end situations, which eventually result in Game Over.

Gokko Vol. 03: Etcetera

Gokko Vol. 03: Etcetera

NEC PC-9801 - Released - December 16, 1993

"Etcetera" describes quite well the content of this game, which is the third volume in the Gokko series. While the two previous games were dedicated to certain themes or scenarios (doctor and school girls, respectively), the third one is a collection of multi-thematic stories of a sexual nature. The protagonist is a young Japanese male (default name Shouhei), and his first objective is to seduce his boss's sexy sister. In following chapters, the hero encounters other women (sports car driver, journalist, etc.), each encounter ending the way one would expect from an eroge. The gameplay is identical to the other games in the series. There is no permanent interaction menu, commands are always context-sensitive, mostly being conversation responses or choices of actions. Some choices are purely cosmetic; others might lead to Game Over; finally, certain choices unlock additional CGs. The final chapter of the game is playable only if the player has unlock a sufficient amount of CGs while playing the previous chapters.

Two Shot Diary

Two Shot Diary

Fujitsu FM Towns Marty - Released - January 16, 1995

Two Shot Diary is a collection of twelve short episodes of sexual nature, each told by a different young woman, presented as entries in their diaries. There is no connection between the stories. Each heroine has a different profession and social status (high school student, nurse, model, etc.), where each episode usually centers around a particular sexual theme (voyeurism, lesbian sex, rape, etc.). The game is almost entirely pornographic, with nearly each screen being a depiction of a sexual activity. The game may be considered a visual novel, because no skill whatsoever is required to play the game and most of it is composed of text accompanied by pictures rather than interaction. Instead of making decisions, characteristically for most visual novels, the player chooses words from a menu to insert into the text. If the choice makes no sense, it simply disappears and the player chooses another one.

Wonpara Wars

Wonpara Wars

NEC PC-9801 - Released - March 31, 1993

God has created a paradise called Wandante. Men, women, and animals lived together in peace. But where there is God, there is also Devil; where there is love, there is also hatred. The hatred between men and women grew, until it resulted in a bloody war. Having superior physical strength, men were victorious for a while - until female demons offered their help to women's army. Men's army was nearly destroyed. It was at that time that the hero, named Leopard Chateau-Lyon, appeared in Wandante. He is the only hope of the men, the one who will have to defeat the demonic women and to bring peace to both genders. Wonpara Wars is a strategy board game which is somewhat similar to chess, but with much simpler rules (and decidedly much simpler than the Japanese chess, shogi). Some pieces are identical to those of Western chess (bishop), or move similarly to Western chess pieces, but have different names ("magicians" who move similarly to rooks); "soldiers" can walk in all directions, including backwards. There are also treasure chess scattered around the board, which can be captured by both the player's and the enemy army. The battles are dictated by the plot; there are cut scenes before and after each battle, and they take place in different locations. The enemy army has a "boss" piece, unique for each battle. The battle is won when one of the sides has captured enough enemy pieces. Whenever the player's piece captures an enemy piece, a hentai scene occurs, typically showing a girl taking off her battle clothes.

Wonpara Wars II

Wonpara Wars II

NEC PC-9801 - Released - March 10, 1995

The protagonist of the first game, Leopard Chateau-Lyon, finds himself wandering in a forest, having no memory of his own past, except his name. He is captured by two female warriors and is brought to their queen. It appears that there are only women in this country; when the hero says he is a man, the queen rejoices, telling him about an ancient legend that prophesied the advent of a creature named man, who will save their country from the ruthless queen of the neighboring land. The hero has to prove himself worthy of his heroic status and to defeat the enemy forces that threaten the country. Wonpara Wars II follows the same principle as its predecessor: defeat the enemy army in chess-like battles, watch the cut scene, advance to the next stage. The rules for the board game itself are more complex. There are new pieces, taken from Western chess (knight) as well as original ones (ninja). The rules differ from known chess variants in several ways (random treasure chests can change the movement rules of a piece; many types of pieces can move only forward, etc.). The pieces also differ by gender: knights look like men, bishops like women, etc. Each army has a "master" piece, which represents the hero and the enemy general, correspondingly. Once a general is captured, the battle is won. There are also unique enemy pieces, one for each battle. Like the first game, capturing an enemy piece is accompanied by hentai pictures. Since there are male and female pieces, different pictures are displayed depending on which player piece has performed the capture.
