This compilation includes the next titles: Alien 8 Beach Head 2 Daley Thompson's Supertest Raid Over Moscow Alien 8 On a dying planet in a distant galaxy, the last of the creatures known as the "guardians" stored all of their libraries, records, and knowledge on a single starship together with cryogenically preserved members of their race. A single robot, Alien 8, is tasked with keeping the occupants of the vessel alive for the duration of its journey. The ship is launched towards a new solar system, and Alien 8 performs his task for thousands of years during the journey. However, as the ship nears its destination, it is attacked and boarded by hostile aliens. The cryogenic life support systems were damaged during the attack and Alien 8 must restore them to an operational status before the ship's automatic thrusting systems manoeuvre it into planetary orbit. Beach Head 2 There are four levels in the game. In the first level, called Attack, the player deploys soldiers along a path with walls to cover him from the dictator's gun. The objective is to destroy the gun. The second level involves rescuing the prisoners from deadly obstacles by clearing them with a gun. The third level's objective is to escape from the area by flying a helicopter with the prisoners out of the dictator's fortress. Finally the player and the dictator face off, on opposite cliffs, separated by water. To defeat him, the player must make him fall in the water by throwing knives at him. The Dictator tries to do the same to the player. Daley Thompson's Supertest This game features a variety of sporting events. Each one has its own world record and a target time/distance/score to reach. Fail and the player loses one of three lives. After completing all events successfully they repeat with tougher targets. This game feature eight sporting events: cycling, giant slalom, penalties, pistol shooting, rowing, ski jumping, spring board diving, and tug of war), while the ZX Spectrum 128K release has four additional events: 100 metres hurdles, javelin, sprint, and the triple jump; making twelve games in all. Raid Over Moscow The USSR has launched a huge attack on the USA, and the only hope for the free world is for you (as leader of a US Squadron of fighters) to destroy their defense bases. This is done in a multi-stage action game with some similarities to the same developer's Beach Head. All the mini-games must be completed before the time limit on the bomb is expired.

Amstrad Gold Hits 3

Amstrad Gold Hits 3

Amstrad CPC - Released - 1988

This compilation includes the next games: Bravestarr Captain America Rampage Rygar: Let's Fight !!! Solomon's Key Trantor: The Last Stormtrooper World Class Leaderboard Bravestarr The planet of New Texas is similar to the Wild West-era Texas - mystic Indians, bar-room brawlers and sharp-shooting mercenaries. The only man tough enough to keep order in such a place is Marshall Bravestarr. Stampede is the villain of the piece; he aims to bring the dead back to life as zombies for his own use. BraveStarr is a side-scrolling action title based on the popular 80's space western cartoon series. Starting with a limited amount of time, you must find and rescue Shamen, who was captured by the evil Tex Hex, to aid Stampede's plans. You get nine minutes to complete your task. Captain America Rampage George, Lizzy and Ralph were just ordinary Americans, until an experiment went wrong, turning them into a Gorilla, Lizard and Werewolf respectively. Following this, the three of them plan to go round destroying buildings, and up to 3 human players can join in. Smashing at the edges of the buildings for long enough will make them collapse. The police and military are after you, and will shoot at you, so try to destroy them (failing that, you can avoid the bullets). You will need to eat regularly, with things like plants on offer, to avoid shrinking back to being human. Rygar: Let's Fight !!! An evil being known as Ligar is about to conquer the land of Argool. Such is his power that no living creature dares to cross paths with him. But the legendary warrior Rygar rises from his grave to restore peace and justice. Armed with his famed weapon Diskarmor, Rygar begins to traverse the vast lands that lead to the lair of the demon, as his minions are trying in vain to stop him... Solomon's Key Solomon's Key is a platform game with both action and strategy elements. On each level your goal is to retrieve a key which can then be used to unlock the exit. To help out, you have a magic wand which can be used to create and destroy blocks (though some blocks can't be destroyed). In order to reach the key you will need carefully to arrange the blocks on the screen so you can jump your way around safely. Trantor: The Last Stormtrooper You play the role of a man, who has been stranded on an alien planet, after his space ship explodes, and you must find pieces of it to rebuild it. The gameplay, involves you jumping across platforms and shooting at droids and aliens, but also ducking to avoid high flying robots. The game is played from a side scrolling perspective. The baddies, come thick and fast, and the only way to cope is to keep moving. World Class Leaderboard It is a Golf game. Wind, snap, and power are the main considerations as players dodge the bunkers, water, and rough, which make for more complex courses. A course editor is included. The courses provided include real locations: St. Andrews (Scotland), Cypress Creek, and Doral Country Club (USA) and a fictional one, The Gauntlet, which, as the name suggests, is designed to push the player's skills to the maximum.

Amstrad Gold Hits II

Amstrad Gold Hits II

Amstrad CPC - Released - 1986

This compilation includes the next games: Avenger: Way of the Tiger 2 Breakthru! Desert Fox Konami's Golf The Goonies Avenger: Way of the Tiger 2 In the sequel to The Way of the Tiger, Yaemon the Grand Master of Flame is the villain of the piece. He has killed your foster-father Naijish and stolen the Scrolls of Kettsuin. Your quest to recover the scrolls and avenge your father's death is viewed from above and superficially resembles Gauntlet. Breakthru! BreakThru is a 2D side-scrolling vehicle shooter. Your mission: race, jump, and blast your way through five levels (mountains, bridge, plains, city, and airfield) of enemy defenses to recapture the stolen jet fighter. A host of enemy soldiers, mines, vehicles, and aircraft will try to stop you, though. Oh yeah... and don't forget to watch out for those rocket attacks and falling rocks! Desert Fox The player takes the role of tank commander, Lone Wolf, who has to foil Rommel's plans in Northern Africa. The strategic part of the game plays on a overhead map, which shows Lone Wolf and Rommel's positions. The overall goal is to save the Allied depots, which are attacked by Rommel's troops - the main challenge is to save all of them in time. Lone Wolf can be moved over the map, and one airstrike per game can be used to buy time for one depot. Lone Wolf also has the ability to gain enemy intel with his radio - this is useful in order to find out where obstacles await. Konami's Golf Konami's Golf features a challenging 18 hole course, and allows you, to choose your club, adjust your stance, and control your swing, applying hook, and slice if desired (or inadvertently added). Wind and ball lie must be taken into account. The Goonies Based on the Steven Spielberg film of the same name, in which a motley crew of suburban kids in Astoria, Oregon, must save their homes from being foreclosed, and find their salvation in a treasure map leading to an old pirate ship in a cavern. However, they must maneuver around an eccentric family of Italian criminals -- the Fratellis -- who are also on the trail of the treasure.

Angry Kitten

Amstrad CPC - Homebrew - 2019

When the player enters a new room, there are doors through which a succession of enemies begins to appear. Only after killing all the enemies, the player can access the next room, it is impossible to return to the previous room. The kitten can move and shoot in 8 directions. It will fire in the same direction as the one that moved for the last time, for instance, if the player stops moving after having gone to the right, his shots will go to the right.

Hebdogiciel, was a weekly magazine from the 1980s. This publication, from the Shift Éditions company, accompanied the birth of family microcomputing, at the time of the first 8 and 16 bit computers. Intended to provide computer programs in hard copy. This journal was an inexpensive source of "software" for novice computer scientists of the time. At a time when software was sold on ROM media, cassettes and diskettes, this magazine allowed everyone to type their programs themselves, and save them on the support of their choice. Most computer machines were represented there. First edition includes the next programs: Intérieurs (Hebdogiciel) L'age de Pierre Master Rubik's Cube

Hit Pak: 6 Pak: Volume 1

Hit Pak: 6 Pak: Volume 1

Amstrad CPC - Released - 1987

This compilation includes the next games: 1942 Duet Fighting Warrior Scooby Doo In The Castle Mystery Split Personalities The Sacred Armour of Antiriad Jet Set Willy II 1942 The player pilots a Lockheed P-38 Lightning dubbed the "Super Ace". The player has to shoot down enemy planes; to avoid enemy fire, the player can perform a roll or vertical loop. During the game, the player may collect a series of power-ups, one of them allowing the plane to be escorted by two other smaller fighters in a Tip Tow formation. Enemies included: Kawasaki Ki-61s, Mitsubishi A6M Zeros and Kawasaki Ki-48s. The boss plane is a Nakajima G10N. The game has "a special roll button that allows players to avoid dangerous situations by temporarily looping out of" the playfield.[7] In addition to the standard high score, it also has a separate percentage high score, recording the best ratio of enemy fighters to enemies shot down. Duet Choose your tactic. You can set off on your own, relying on your cunning and stealth to break into enemy territory, or you can be part of a human machine, a shock squad made up of just two people who must show cooperation and wit. team to be able to survive. Regardless of the method chosen, the mission remains the same: to seize vital documents and return home safe and sound. Your task is far from easy. The odds are not in your favor with all those minefields to dodge and tanks and patrols to be wary of. So grit your teeth and prepare for battle. Fighting Warrior We are in ancient Egypt, with its legends of sacrificial burials, mythical creatures and magic. Your task is to rescue the beloved princess Thaya, who has been kidnapped by the evil Pharaoh, and only when you have rescued her, will you have completed your task. Locked away in a remote temple, the princess is about to be buried alive as a sacrifice to the gods. Armed only with a sword, and with your reputation as the most acclaimed warrior in the country, you must cross the desert in search of the temple. But many dangers await you on your journey. Mythological devils, demigods and magical devices are used by Pharaoh's magicians to prevent you from fulfilling your task. You will have to use all your combat powers and skill to destroy them. During your journey you will also find various objects abandoned over the centuries by other travelers. These items are said to have magical powers, and you must use your intelligence to figure out how to make those powers work. But be careful: you must distinguish between those that contain good powers and those that are bad. Once in the temple, your problems are not over. The temple is under the control of Pharaoh's wizards, who will use their powers to steal energy from you. You will only succeed when you have reunited with your princess and free her from her captivity. Scooby Doo In The Castle Mystery. Split Personalities The basic premise involves being presented with 1 of 10 pictures (representing famous figures such as Ronald Reagan, Maggie Thatcher, Lady Diana and even Sir Clive Sinclair), with the complete picture presented at the side of the screen. You must move your cursor onto the, pick up a piece, and place it onto the main playing area, ensuring that you can move the others into place. Unlike with the plastic versions there are 16 pieces to fit into 20 spaces, allowing more leeway in terms of continual sliding. The complications in this version include gaps in the playing area which swallow pieces and return them to the bank, a time limit, bombs which have to be moved off the screen to avoid losing a life, and bonus objects to be moved in specific ways for bonus points. The Sacred Armour of Antiriad In 2086, civilization destroys itself in a nuclear Armageddon, as two factions who both develop an anti-radiation battlesuit completely immune to conventional weapons go to war against each other when diplomatic peace talks break down. In the following millennia, the survivors develop into a hardy but peaceful race, living a quiet agricultural existence. One day, mysterious alien forces emerge from an old volcano containing a pre-war military base and attack, quickly conquering and enslaving the new breed of humans, and forcing the populace to work in mines. Many rebel against the mysterious overlords and one of these rebels, Tal, is instructed by his elders to seek out a legendary armoured suit - the Sacred Armour of Antiriad (the last word being a corruption of "anti-radiation"), which is in fact one of the pre-war battlesuits whose development originally instigated the diplomatic crisis that started the nuclear war. This armour is rumoured to render the wearer impervious to attack and, with its help, Tal hopes to defeat and overthrow the alien rulers of Earth. However, the armour requires other equipment to be added to it in order to make it function fully. These include anti-gravity boots, a particle negator, a pulsar beam, and an implosion mine. The last add-on is the most important as it is the one needed to destroy the volcano the enemy uses as its base. Jet Set Willy II Jet Set Willy II is an expansion of the original Jet Set Willy (JSW), rather than a new game unto itself. Its map is primarily an expanded version of the original mansion, with only a few new elements over its predecessor, several of which are based on rumoured events in JSW that were in fact never programmed (such as being able to launch the titular ship in the screen called "The Yacht" and explore an island). In the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and MSX versions, Willy is blasted from the Rocket Room into space, and for these 33 rooms he dons a spacesuit.

In-game scenes vary and include scenes in helicopters, on foot, in the air, underwater, on water skis, and behind the wheels of a tanker truck. Live and Let Die Live and Let Die is a racing game in which the player navigates James Bond driving a modified speedboat. It did not start as a Bond game, being a rebranding after Domark saw Elite Systems working on a game named Aquablast, and thought the boat driving and fighting of said title resembled the speedboat chase of Live and Let Die. Savage Savage is a three-part game; the first part is side-scrolling level with a muscular hero warrior fighting his way in a castle dungeon; the second is a 3D into-the-screen action sequence where the player has to shoot targets while avoiding monstrous stone heads; the third level a bird has to find its way in a 2d scrolling maze, collect four keys and reach the exit. The story is a swords and sorcery fantasy, with the muscular hero in the end rescuing his 'maiden love' from the clutches of the "Dark Guardian".
